Nicole Daniels

Victim Outreach Worker

Nicole Daniels has been working in violence prevention and de-escalation for nearly three years. As a Violence Outreach Worker, her role centers on building trust through consistent presence, active listening, and meaningful engagement with community members. A survivor of gun violence herself, Nicole brings a deep understanding of how trauma can affect every aspect of a person’s life—mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Certified in violence prevention, Nicole’s approach is rooted in attentiveness, compassion, and relationship-building. She meets people where they are, offering her full attention, maintaining eye contact, and acknowledging emotions to foster genuine connection. Her lived experience strengthens her ability to connect with those most impacted by violence.

For Nicole, the most gratifying part of this work is empowering individuals to make positive choices and contribute to lasting social change. She emphasizes that violence prevention is not just about responding to crises—it's about addressing the root causes of at-risk behaviors and fostering environments where healing and growth are possible.
